Job Title- AI Engineer

Location- Dallas, TX

Salary Range- 80k to 90k

Entry-Level AI/ML Engineer – AI, GenAI & Agentic AI
About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong early-career professional with advanced Python skills and knowledge of machine learning projects and AI-focused internships (preferred) during undergraduate or master’s studies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about applying machine learning and agentic AI techniques to real-world problems, thrive in collaborative environments, and have the curiosity to explore new AI methods and tools.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI initiatives while working alongside experienced AI scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions for customers and internal business platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, build, deployment, and optimization of AI/GenAI/Agentic AI solutions for customers as well as internal TCS AI and Data business platforms.

Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, NLP, or computer vision tasks.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for data preprocessing, model training, and deployment.

Work with large datasets to clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, researchers, and product managers, to integrate AI/ML solutions into applications and workflows.

Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and present findings using clear metrics and visualizations.

Stay updated on emerging AI/ML and Agentic AI research and contribute innovative ideas to improve products and processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Strong Python programming skills.

Academic experience in machine learning, AI, or data-driven projects.

Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and machine learning concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with deep learning techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, or natural language processing.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, or MLOps tools including Docker, MLflow, and Kubernetes.

Contributions to open-source projects or published research in AI/ML.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
