Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious Infrastructure Research Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the intersection of AI, technology and market research. As an intern, you will play an integral role in supporting our Datacenter Model by researching and analyzing real-time trends in the AI Infrastructure space. If you have a keen interest in how AI is shaping the future of physical infrastructure and want to contribute to cutting-edge research, this is the role for you.
You will assist in tracking and analyzing key trends, from market developments to technological shifts, and contribute to impactful research projects. The internship will also give you exposure to the inner workings of SemiAnalysis and the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts.
The role will be a remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on trends within the AI and datacenter industries, with a focus on industry growth.
- Contribute to the creation of insightful research reports, presentations, and other deliverables that synthesize market trends and technological advancements.
- Support the identification and analysis of emerging trends in hyperscaler infrastructure investment activity.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Datacenter Model by tracking and updating key data points and industry developments.
- Assist senior analysts in synthesizing complex datasets, generating insights, and contributing to actionable research outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in the AI, datacenter, and semiconductor industries.
- A passion for market research, data analysis, and understanding emerging technological trends.
- An investigative mindset, with the ability to ask the right questions and dig deeper into industry trends.
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools (Python or similar programming skills are a plus).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, contributing effectively to team projects and goals.
